A Dark soul gathering magick …
The Master of Light struggling to find his place …
The alluring Fire witchling who holds the key to helping him …
Darkness looms over the school for witchlings where the Master of Light, Beck, races to control his magic so he can protect the innocent. He struggles to balance his duty with his broken heart and to understand how to move on from what he considers his ultimate failure his inability to save the woman he loved.
Morgan is on the run – for a good cause. The soul stone she carries could kill Beck and everyone else she cares about, if she’s caught by the Dark witchlings pursuing her. Neither Light nor Dark, she begins to think she’ll spend her life in the shadows, undeserving of Beck’s love and alone with her secret.
When the paths of Beck and Morgan collide again, there isn’t time for doubt or fear. They must work together to tackle the Dark soul that wants them both dead. To do so, there can be no more secrets between them.
Without Trust, Love and Light, the witchlings will perish.
Spring Rain Witchling Series Book 4 eBook Lizzy Ford
PROS:Morgan is beautifully scarred but not broken. She’s got a golden soul, full of heart and love that she’s scared to share because of her past. Morgan is headstrong, determined, a fiery little minx that will latch on to your heart and have you cheering her on. It’s heartbreaking the extent of the damage her past wrecked on her soul. Her memories trigger, her trauma is harsh and dark and it hurts to see someone so strong cower in fear. Morgan fights with extreme courage, risking everything and sacrificing her heart to spread the Light. It’s inspiring to watch Morgan grow and learn to love.
Beck is distraught, confused, and struggles daily with his worthiness to save the Light. Beck has made several mistakes that have altered his life dramatically and he doesn’t know how to live with the consequences, only that he must. Weighed down by responsibility and loss, Beck wavers in his confidence but overcomes his insecurity when everything is at stake. Beck becomes a man in this story and more importantly, he learns to harness the Light with trust and heart.
Beck and Morgan are fire. Raw, hot passion. Off the charts chemistry. Morgan and Beck complete each other. Total opposites they push and pull, daring each other to be better, to grow, and to lay everything on the line for the fate of the world. Together they are invincible.
Noah and Biji. I smell another book. Seriously. I adore Noah and Biji together and they both deserve a happy ending. She’s feisty, he has a big, compassionate heart and a side of bad boy. I can already imagine the heat between them. Reading their small but potent interactions was heartwarming and blissful, you can feel the chemistry rolling off the pages.
The final battle. The anticipation built into a chaotic mess of evil and sinister intention. It’s graphic, dramatic, and bold. The screams of pain, the leaching shadows, the anger in the air, everything equals one epic finale.
CONS:
What should have been big, climactic explosions of emotional turmoil at the deaths of two horrendous villains were brief, summarized, and even glossed over. Morgan had so much animosity and trauma towards her dark past that this showdown should have figured prominently so that Morgan could heal and find closure; unfortunately this scene was a bit of a letdown.
Characters were introduced that had been mentioned in previous books but hadn’t had a large role. Their scenes were brief and unexplored, especially Morgan’s mother. Her personality, her inner demons were hinted at but fizzled out and never came back to the storyline.
Decker and Summer were somewhat absent. Their scenes were short and lacked their normal vivaciousness. I found myself seriously missing their spirited personalities and interactions.

Spring Rain Witchling Series Book 4 eBook Lizzy Ford Reviews
Wow, read all 4 books and now I want to see this story on the big screen as in a movie. I love it, the magic and the elements being together to fight the dark. This fan loves your work. Catha Watkins Reese
I got hooked on the witchling series before Spring Rain came out. I love the series. There were some plot twists that I didn't for see. She definitely kept me on my toes. The only reason that I am not giving the books a 5 star rating is due to editing errors. I'm not one that gets annoyed when commas aren't in the right places, but it does annoy me when words are missing in sentences, letters and missing or when there are huge typos. Since I just read the whole series in the space of 3-4 days, I cannot remember which book I read it in, but there was a sentence along the lines of "she put her hands on his test". or something like that. Well obviously she was trying to say chest not test but it is little things like this through out the entire series. Ms. Ford needs a better editor/s to help her not miss these small mistakes. I can see her becoming big in the writing industry.
OMG OMG OMG!!! I love Lizzy Ford's books and I love the Witchling Series that she has written!!! I will start by saying this -- you HAVE to read these books in order!!! And when you read this "Spring Rain" the final book of this series -- you will be close to tears when you read the ending!!!
I don't write spoilers -- but the ending of this book sort of caught we off guard BUT I still love that the end comes down to an epic battle instead of something simple!!! The battle between the darkness and the light -- and the way that the elements have to work together -- it is truly amazing writing!!!
I will warn you - that once you start reading this series, you will find any and all of the books hard to put down!!!
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
Lizzy Ford does an amazing job in the fourth book of the Witchling Series!
Beck is the Master of Light and trying to deal with the loss of someone he loves. He is fighting to keep the Light at the school, but the Dark is ever present. He has found his counterbalance in Morgan, but just as quickly as she was with him, she is gone.
Morgan is on the run. She wants nothing more than protect Beck and the other witchlings from harm. The soul stone is something she wishes she could get rid of. When she finally is able to harness some of her magic, the results are beyond what she had hoped for.
When Beck and Morgan come together they know they must never part. Their combined powers are what is needed to help save the people they care about.
I loved this book! Lizzy does a great job of pulling you into her story and making you never want to leave. If you haven't read this series I recommend you pick it up. You won't be disappointed.
Spring Rain, The Witchling Series book 4 by Lizzy Ford
5 stars
This final book in the series had me waiting at every turn for some new obstacle to be thrown in the path of Morgan and Beck. I loved the way that both of them had to grown and truly learn to use their gifts, find their inner strength and learn to trust and rely not only upon themselves, but also to trust others to help the and support them through the trials and struggles they each were facing.
There just couldn't have been a perfect happy ending for everyone, Dawn was still a complete train-wreck, and in the end, I think what happened to her was the best ending she could have had. Noah and Biji both make me smile, with all the things they chose to do. Decker and Summer really had become such a powerful force to be reckoned with as a couple, and a reliable source of support to those around them.
I really loved this book, and how things ended, I don't think it could have been any better without just throwing unnecessary words into the ending. I can't chose between #TeamDecker and #TeamBeck because they're both awesome!
